Group Sessions

Fees for group services are assessed on a sliding scale based on clients gross income. Please bring a copy of a recent paycheck stub to determine your group fees.

ALCOHOL & DRUG EVALUATION:

This includes a complete profile and recommends a course of action for the client. It is a 12 week program.

ANGER MANAGEMENT EDUCATION

This is a program designed to identify and resolve anger and/or violence issues and help students to recognize how anger can become an addiction. This is a 12 week program.

B.I.P.P. BATTERING INTERVENTION PREVENTION PROGRAM 
(DOMESTIC VIOLENCE):

This is an 18 week educational program designed to bring awareness to clients. Sessions are held once weekly for two hours encouraging the student to recognize their own cycle of anger, belief systems and behaviors. 

$50 One time enrollment fee
$35/Week

DEFENSIVE DRIVING:

During this course the clients will learn the importance of driving safely. Not only to protect themselves, but those around them.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING:

This course is offered to individuals who cannot make scheduled classes. These are one on one sessions also to assist those less comfortable in a group setting in hopes of becoming more open and honest about their problem(s).

PARENTING CLASSES:

Raising children is no easy task. Second Chance offers Parenting classes to parents and guardians to increase their awareness about the responsibilities of raising children. in this course we will help educate parents in developing healthier relationships with their children. Classes are held once a week for one hour, for 12 weeks.

RECOVERY AND RELAPSE PREVENTION:

Group to help clients identify their specific relapse cycles and how they can avoid falling back into one again. It has been designed for those clients who have relapsed in the past or are at high risk of relapsing. This is a six week program.

$55 One time enrollment fee

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM:

This is an eight week program. We do not charge an extra fee for individual one on one sessions (as many other companies do). This is a structured curriculum of chemical dependency education, cognitive change and group processing, and more. Classes are held twice weekly for three hours each class session.

SUPPORTIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM:

This is a 12 week program consisting of two, two-hour sessions per week and one or two individual sessions per month. This is a structured curriculum of chemical dependency education as well as group processing and cognitive change.


TEXAS DRUG OFFENDER EDUCATION PROGRAM (TDOEP):

State mandated 15-hour program required to reinstate a revoked license. Held every 2nd & 4th Monday in five three-hour sessions.

Second Chance Consulting provides education and training opportunities whereas knowledge and learned skills can be practiced in a client-friendly setting. Classes are taught by licensed instructors; include various levels of drug/alcohol and anger management programs.


A common goal of Second Chance Consulting and Second Chance Outreach is to focus on drug education, awareness, and prevention. An individual, family or community destroyed by substance abuse or violence is a tragedy. To aid in academic achievement and improve school performance, Second Chance Consulting and Second Chance Outreach are positioned to engage in the difficult conversations regarding the dangers of drugs with the youths; advocating drug prevention, awareness and education.


Second Chance Outreach program of services are designed to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills and abilities to make positive and healthy life choices. Second Chance Outreach recognizes that there is a need to establish working relationships with community-based, faith-based and for-profit organizations in order to effectively assess community needs and offer the right programs, at the right time.


Second Chance Outreach also offers in-service training and professional development programs for law enforcement/correction personnel, focusing on risk assessment, drug and contraband trafficking.
